The challenge
Museums struggle with digital reach: physical collections have limited accessibility and existing virtual tour solutions were expensive, rigid, and required technical expertise to maintain. Museum360 needed a platform that empowers museums to be self-sufficient — without depending on developers for every content change. At the same time, the system had to automatically support multiple languages to reach international audiences and be flexible enough to embed tours on external platforms.
Our solution
We developed the VRED Content Management System — a specialised CMS that fully automates the publishing of 360° tours. Museums upload photos, place hotspots with artwork information, and compose tours via drag-and-drop — without any technical knowledge. The i18n system automatically detects the visitor's language and adapts navigation and descriptions. An API layer enables tours to be embedded on external websites or integrated with museum apps. The entire publication process — from upload to live tour — is automated in a seamless workflow.
